Green Roofs

Why Have Greenroofs

Extensive greenroofs that are designed to be viewed and not trafficked.

Greenroofs offer a raft of environmental benefits; with the increased concerns for our environment they are more important within the domestic market than they have ever been.

Greenroof covers extend the lifespan of any roof covering, vegetated area heat up much less than exposed areas, reducing UV degradation, frost attack and thermal shock.

Greenroofs initially retain more rain during wet weather than conventional roofing therefore reducing flooding.  With the slower water run off this allows more water to enter the natural water course rather than the sewage system.

A standard domestic greenroof will give on average up to 8db in noise reduction affording a more comfortable habitat for the occupants.

A standard domestic greenroof will also give on average up to three degrees in insulation making it warmer in winter and cooler in summer affording a more comfortable habitat for the occupants and saving energy costs.

A greenroof will attract an extensive array of insects and birds normally seen around your property adding to the biodiversity of your immediate area.
